Teresa Kay Willard, age 49, of Grand Haven passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019, at home. She was born December 5, 1969, in Flint to Dwight Sanford and Kay Ann (Matthews) Gay; and she married Blair Allen Willard on September 7, 1997, in Troy, Michigan.
Teresa graduated from Wayne State University and worked as a registered pharmacist, clinical services manager for Meijer. She was very devoted to God and her church family, and enjoyed traveling. Teresa was a member of Great Lakes Church in Troy, and attended Harvest Bible Chapel in Grand Haven. She was a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Blair Willard of Grand Haven; and his three children: two daughters, Erin (Michael) McDonald of St. Clair, Michigan, and Lindsay (Vince) Bilof of Chesterfield, Michigan, and a son, Jared Willard of Chicago; five grandchildren: Evelynn McDonald, Michael McDonald, Cecelia Bilof, Lydia Bilof and Sylvio Bilof; three brothers: Duane (Jo) Jorgensen, David (Katie) Matthews and Darrin (Nicole) Matthews; two step-brothers, Steve Gay and Derek Gay; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2019, from 5-8 p.m. at Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services – The VanZantwick Chapel in Grand Haven. The funeral service for Teresa will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, at Great Lakes Church, 4050 Coolidge Highway, Troy, MI 48098, with the Rev. Shane Ogle officiating. Friends may meet the family from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Wujek Calcaterra Funeral Home, 54880 Van Dyke Ave., Shelby Charter Township, MI 48316.
