Jason E. Truitt

JASON E. TRUITT, 38 of Wallace, MI went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday October 10, 2019.  Jason was born on September 27, 1981 in Marinette, WI to Burt and Leanne (Sohr) Truitt.  Jason was a 2000 graduate of Stephenson High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Lake Superior State University.  On December 28, 2003 Jason married the former Jeriann Choate in Poplar, WI.  He was employed by the state of Michigan at J.W. Wells State Park for the last 13 years.  Jason loved playing basketball with his boys at the house, on Tuesday’s at Central Baptist Church, and Saturday’s and Wednesday’s in Menominee/Marinette with his buddies.  It was there that Jason could just be himself and his friends there new him better than anyone else.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys in his recently purchased $500 boat he found on Craigslist.  Jason was a certified drone pilot and he enjoyed flying the drone taking aerial photographs.   He was a great at trouble shooting anything.  No matter what it was (from a computer glitch to the wood furnace) even if he didn’t know how to do it, he would succeed at fixing it. Above all else, Jason loved his time at home with his wife and boys sitting and rocking in his rocking chair.  Jason attended the Country Bible Church.
