Betty Jane (Coron) Krul, 94, died July 19, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her children, at Higgins Lake.
Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 West Pierson Rd., Flushing. A private funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on a future day to be announced. The family expressed its appreciation for Hospice staff for all of their care and support.
She was born Oct. 2, 1925, to the late David and Delia Coron in Flint. She married John Krul July 31, 1948, and they enjoyed 55 years of marriage.
Mrs. Krul loved to play bingo and cards and going to the casino. She was known for being a people person.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John, in 2003; oldest son, Johnny, in 1973; and many brothers and sisters.
Surviving Mrs. Krul are her children, Daniel, Robert, Joanne, Richard (Joyce), Denise, Barbara (James), Anthony and Michael (Peggy); 12 grandchildren, Susanne, Matthew, Johnathon, Damon, Richard, Michael, Thomas, Tricia, Monica, Julia, Rebecca and Alexander; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Rock; sister-in-law, Dolly (Russ) Misekow; and many nieces and nephews.
