Roy Lee Delleree, 89, Roscommon, died July 27, 2020, in Bay City.
Visitation will take place at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon, Friday, Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, indoor visitation will be limited to 10 people at a time. A memorial service will take place on the lawn of the funeral home beginning at noon Friday. Should inclement weather make an outdoor service impossible, a private, family-only service will be held indoors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.
He was born April 11, 1931, in Ubly, the son of Leland and Hazel (Ebert) Delleree. He and Alva Allen were married Aug. 1, 1970, in Warren. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
In his youth, he played high school sports. He liked to go boating and waterskiing. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed woodworking even in his spare time. He especially liked to make jewelry boxes and would give them to his close friends and family members.
He and his wife loved to go camping and watching the Detroit Tigers together. He also loved spending time with his dog, Brandy. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Preceding him death were his parents; and wife, Alva.
Surviving Mr. Delleree are his daughters, Barbara (Richard) Doyle of White Lake and Bonnie (Dan) Bruton of Metamora.
