Dr. Aubry Anna Haertel, 35, Roscommon, died Sept. 1, 2020, at her home in Roscommon.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. at Gerrish Township Cemetery, 9920 North Cut Rd., Roscommon. Arrangements were handled by Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
She was born March 28, 1985, in Orem, UT, the daughter of Steven and Georgina (Mills) Haertel. She graduated from Roscommon High School in 2003. While she was in high school, she enjoyed cheerleading and choir. Also, while in high school, she acquired her CNA (certified nursing assistant) certification. She attended Kirtland Community College where she obtained a degree in cardiac sonography.
She then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and obtained her bachelor of science degree, as well as her Doctorate of Chriopractic Physician. She was a sorority sister of the Sigma Phi Chi and a member of the Michigan Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Haertel had a real passion and love for people. She loved the Lord and sharing that with others. Her family will always remember her for being a go-getter, from day one. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her nephews, Christian and Charles.
Surviving are her parents; brother, Robert (Megan) Haertel; niece, who she loved dearly; and many friends.
