Katherine Cecilia Printiss, 67, Roscommon, died Sept. 3, 2020, in Grayling.
Visitation will be held at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon, Friday, Sept. 11, from 2 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held privately at St. James Catholic Church. Due to the pandemic, family members expressed their apologies to friends for not being able to attend the Mass. Burial will be in Crestview Cemetery, Markey Township.
She was born May 26, 1953, in Detroit, the daughter of Boleslaus and Anna (Kurek) Garbacz. She and Michael Printiss were united in marriage July 11, 1992, in Redford.
Mrs. Printiss was one of the first cashiers to work at the Houghton Lake Save-A-Lot and remained there for the past 20 years. Prior to her grocery career, she was a licensed beautician in metropolitan Detroit. She loved to travel, shop and spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and brothers, William and Richard Garbacz.
Surviving are her husband, Michael; son, Allen Printiss; stepdaughter, Brittney Printiss; sister, Annie (Roger) Anderson; brothers, Thaddeus and Robert Garbacz; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
