ANDREWS, Marilyn Feb 11, 1931 – Mar 25, 2021

HOBE SOUND [mdash] Marilyn June Andrews, age 90, passed away March 25, 2021 in Palm City, Fla. with her husband of 68 years by her side. Marilyn was born on Feb. 11, 1931 in Lansing, the daughter of Hazel Juenker and Lester Foote.
Raised in Lansing, Marilyn graduated from Eastern High school and met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Andrews, who was a graduate of Sexton High School. Marilyn and Bob married on July 12, 1952.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Bob; and her four children, Karen Andrews, Kathy Andrews, Cindy Andrews (John) and Jim Andrews (Megan). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Courtney Schamel (Chuck), Andrew Doody (Jessica), MacLean Andrews, Jackson Andrews, Melissa Abbott (Sam), Michael Andrews, Minrui Andrews, and Jesse Andrews; as well as her great-grandchildren, Adyson, Declan, and Luka. She is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Donald Foote and his wife Shirley, and James Foote and his wife Shirley.
Besides raising four children, Marilyn was very actively involved in her faith in the Lansing, Traverse City, and Stuart, Fla. communities where she lived. After beginning their family in Lansing, Marilyn and Bob moved the family to Traverse City in 1972 where she supported Bob's many business ventures and participated with him in the development of Harbor West Marina Village. In 1990 Marilyn and Bob bought their first place in Stuart, Fla. at Mariner Sands where they have developed many close friends over the last 30-plus years. Marilyn loved to be with her family and friends, and loved cooking for all of them.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Marilyn's many care givers and the many friends who have been so helpful.

Marilyn will be laid to rest by the immediate family in a private inurnment at the Mariner Sands Chapel Memorial Garden. A memorial service for Marilyn will take place on April 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mariner Sands Chapel in Stuart, with a reception to follow.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin Funeral Home in Stuart.
