James Niles Edinger, 56, passed away April 10, 2021 at his home in Beulah. James was born on December 11, 1964 in Traverse City to his parents, Otto J. and Shirley A. Edinger. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as well.
James loved to fish. He would often say, "just gotta know where to hit 'em". He loved to go hunting and usually shot deer in the butt and was surprisingly, still able to find it.
He also loved to go mushroom hunting, cook, and smoke the fish he caught. He especially loved his little "heathens", his great nieces, and nephews.
James is survived by his mother, Shirley Edinger; sisters, Gladys Edinger and Sherry Edinger-Goethe; brother, Otto "John" Edinger Jr.; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; his beloved "hound", Babe; as well as several close friends.
James is preceded in death by his father, Otto John Edinger and brother, Ronald Edward Edinger.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Jowett Family Funeral Home.
