      Benjamin Franklin Zimmerman Jr., 81, Roscommon, died July 2, 2019, in Grayling. The Rev. Father Bernard Tyler, celebrant, officiated a funeral Mass July 6 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Roscommon. Burial was in Roscommon Village Cemetery, Roscommon. Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon, handled arrangements. He was born Sept. 30, 1937, in Traverse City, the son of Benjamin and Grace (Grove) Zimmerman Sr. He grew up on a farm in Rapid City, near the Torch Lake area, and was the fifth child in a family of eight children, six girls and two boys. Visitation will be held at Village Lutheran Church, 172 White Plains Rd., Bronxville, NY, Saturday, July 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a noon service, also at the church. Born Feb. 15, 1958, in Grayling, he was a son of the late Lucinda Smith Weede and Thomas D. Weede Sr. who was his high school football coach and biggest fan.       Darlene E. Konesko, 65, Prudenville, died June 17, 2019, at her home. Cremation has taken place and was handled by Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin. There will be no visitation or service at this time. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. She was born in Wayne County April 14, 1954, to William E. and Lillian (Radcliff) Plietz. She worked for several years at the Hub Supermarket. She had many friends.
