      Glen Arbor – George Whitney Bulliss Jr., 79, of Glen Arbor and formerly of Grand Rapids, died Friday, July 12, 2019 at his home in Glen Arbor. George was born on Thursday, November 30, 1939 to the late George and Velma (Link) Bulliss in Grand Rapids. Following high school, he began his college education but had to leave early to run the family retail store, George Bulliss Men’s Store, which his father had started in 1941. Jane was born July 4,1920 in the East Leland family home to Elmer and Emma Bardenhagen. She was the third of 5 children. We always referred to Mom as Leland’s Little Firecracker, and she certainly lived up to her name.       Tammy Sue Hubschneider (Stahl) passed away peacefully July 7, 2019 at home, surrounded by her three sons, husband, close family friend and her beloved puppies. Tammy was born July 2, 1961 in Mt. Clemens, MI to parents Robert (Bob) Stahl and Alice Stahl (Bryson). Thelma was born on May 26, 1930 to Theodore and Rachel Anderson in her family home on Hillyside Farm in Suttons Bay, Michigan. Growing up on the farm with four devoted brothers had a profound and lasting effect on her, and helped shape her life in many ways.     Allen Jerome John, 70, of Kewadin, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at Munson Medical Center. Allen was born on July 5, 1949 in Northport the son of Clarence and Evelyn (John) Manitouwash.       James Richard Carr died on June 15, 2019 in Weymouth, United Kingdom, during one of his many international adventures. He was born to Isabel and Richard Carr on November 30, 1944 in Midland, Michigan. He graduated from Cranbrook School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in 1963, and from Principia College in Elsah, Illinois in 1967. Jim enjoyed many, many summers as a camper and then camp counselor at Camp Leelanau in Glen Arbor, Michigan. Jim married Elaine Springston. Jim and Elaine particularly enjoyed traveling and canoeing.
