    Margaret M. “Margie” Callies, age 71, passed away December 6, 2019 at Rennes Nursing home in Peshtigo, WI.  She was born December 22, 1947 in Menominee, MI to the late Walter and Margaret (Renner) Callies.  Margie lived in Menominee until her mother passed away in 2006.  She then resided at Crestview Adult Care home until moving to Rennes in 2015.  Margie attended Men-O-Mee Activity Center from 1982 until it closed and worked at Goodwill Inds. for over 20 years.  She was very proud of the many ribbons and medals she won in the Special Olympics.     WARREN EARL HUBBARD, 92 of Menominee, MI passed away peacefully on Sunday December 8, 2019 at The Harbors.  Warren was born on January 7, 1927 in Stephenson, MI to the late Warren James and Hattie (Schley) Hubbard.  Shortly after taking early graduation from Stephenson High School, class of 1944, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy.  Warren served two plus years and was aboard the USS Bowie in the Pacific-Iwo Jima, Luzon, Okinawa.  They delivered the first troops to Japan after it’s surrender.  He was most proud of his Marine-Navy combat ribbon.  Warren was a member of the local American Legion, VFW and DAV.  Following his service, Warren attended Milwaukee School…

    William Hanson Sr., 91, of Stephenson, Mich. passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Roubal Care and Rehab Center. He was born October 26, 1928 in Marinette, Wis. to the late Elmer and Louise (Adams) Hanson. Bill served his Country proudly in the military during WWII.
