ELAINE E. WILDMAN, 78, of Sebewaing, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2023 at her home, grabbing the Lord’s hand with her family by her side.
Elaine was born on March 13, 1944, in Bay City to the late Arnold and Elsie (Bernhardt) Engelhardt. After graduating high school, she married Jim Wildman at St. John Lutheran Church in Kilmanagh. Jim preceded her in death in 1999. Elaine worked as a funeral assistant for Dinkel-Juengel Funeral Home and then for Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home for many years. Elaine a very proud American, enjoyed flower gardening, traveling, shopping, baking, working crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends. She was a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Elaine is survived by her two daughters, Shelly (Brian) Prich of Davidson, NC and Theresa Nitz of Sebewaing; grandson, Levi Prich of Davidson, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers, Gary, Duane and Dennis Engelhardt.
Visitation and funeral was Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation began at 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. Pastor Michael Boyer officiated. Burial will be private in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Sebewaing.
Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
