Girolamo Morreale, age 49, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, March 29, 2023 and was preceded in death by his father. He will be remembered by his wife, Anna Maria Morreale; children Filippo, age 24, Rosanna, age 18, and Giuseppe (Joey) age eight; mother, Rosalia; mother-in-law, Arcangela; brother and sister-in-law Peter and Courtney; sister and brother-in-law Mariella and Giuseppe; nephews Rosario, Filippo, and Jax; and many cousins and friends.
Girolamo’s family, friends, and employees will remember him fondly as an extremely hard worker and dedicated friend. He was a master ceramic tile layer and expert pizza maker with businesses in both fields. He spent almost every day working or doing things to help others. He greeted everyone with a smile and had an unwavering positive outlook on life. In his free time he enjoyed hosting pizza parties at his home and spending time with his family in Florida.
Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023, with Rosary at 8:30 p.m., at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. A Celebration Mass of Girolamo’s Life will commence 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2023, with visitation one hour prior, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Fr. Stephen Durkee will be officiating. In honor of Girolamo and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family via GoFundMe. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
